Dream Saga Symphony (Part 6: Realization)

This is the last part, representing the phase of dreaming when reality fades in. There is a brief moment in the dream when you realize that it is a dream . It is like an enlightenment when the mind makes sense out of everything. It can be a feeling of relief but then sadness , because you can not return to this dream and perhaps finish anything that is left unresolved . You must leave it behind. I tried to portray this as a "bitter-sweet " sound (happy, but with a subtle hint of sadness ).

Now that the project is finished , I guess I should give some general information about how it all happened. The first idea came to me many years ago. I love music , and I am very interested in dreams and the subconscious mind, so I thought about making music that was like a soundtrack to a dream. A few years went by and I forgot about this idea for a while. Within the past few months, I began to experiment with making symphonic music, and I really enjoyed it. This made me remember the "dream soundtrack" idea, and I decided that I should compose a symphony with many parts, each representing a different section of a long dream. That is how the word "saga"came to me. It's like the dream is an epic story, like a book or a movie.

There are three main reasons why I decided to undertake a project that would be rather difficult for me (considering I have very little experience with this type of music).

1st: To test myself and expand my horizons. It is important for an artist to try something different once in a while. It is a great way to develop new abilities.

2nd: I have always enjoyed symphonic music, even before I started creating it. Some of my inspirations are Muse (particularly the Exogenesis Symphony), Era, Luca Turilli, Philippe Giordana (and other symphonic metal composers /bands such as Aquaria ) and Hans Zimmer. His soundtrack to the movie "Gladiator" is ingenious . I have always paid much attention to the music in movies, so it is natural for me to attempt to make similar music that evokes images and emotions (I hope).

3rd: The most important reason why I have worked on this is because of all of you who listen. When I first started, I never expected such a positive response. Your kind comments have deeply inspired me and I can not thank you enough for giving me the desire to complete this project. Well I believe that's all the information anyone might like to read. As usual, the picture is from google. It looks as if the mind is calm and rather happy, because the stress and chaos is coming to an end. However, when you observe the beauty of the imaginary world, you are still reluctant to leave.
