Do you mean that you want the movie to start immediately without having to click Play in the DVD menu?
If so on the Burn tab click the Edit button shown below
to edit the DVD menu.
Uncheck the two options shown below
and then burn the DVD as normal.
Tip: if you do not already do so - use rewriteable discs for initial burns and testing - if you need to adjust the movie or make changes you can reuse the disc, once you have the disc as you wish and a successful burn then copy the writeable to DVD-R and then erase the rrwriteable for yourr next project.
The DVD can then be played with various programs. I use VLC, which allows me to simply right click the folder and play the DVD. That normally opens the menu, but in your case, if you've followed John's instructions, it should immediately play the content.
When you're happy, burn the DVD normally, either with MEP or (my preference) with an alternative progam such as ImgBurn.
Thank you very much John & Terry. I really appreciate you great advice. I love the screen snapshot photo's.
When a producer or director puts my dvd actors demo reel into their machine, I dont want them to have to fumble and find or work the remote. I have heard stories of them not finding the remote and just tossing the dvd.
Its much better, and I have a better chance of them actually seeing my demo reel if it just automatically plays when they put it in thir machine. I'm going out to buy the blank dvd's shortly. If you dont hear back from me, assume everything worked well. Again, thank you for the instructions, I usually dont have much luck with the help or search munuals, must be a keyword thing or something.
