CAN I RECORD MULTIPLE TRACKS AT ONCE,CAN I COPY ONE TRACK TO ANOTHER TRACK

Your question refers to… Samplitude Music Studio

I INSTALLED THE SAMPLITUDE MUSIC STUDIO MX AND WANT TO KNOW IF I CAN RECORD MORE THAN 2 TRACKS AT ONCE, AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IF YOU CAN COPY ONE TRACK ON TO ANOTHER TRACK TO MAKE 2 TRACKS OF THE SAME THING FOR PANNING?

Yes, you can record multiple tracks at once with the Samplitude Producer 11.5, as-well-as the older versions of the Samplitude Music Studio... I believe beginning with version 12, but don't quote me on that. It has been several years since I have used that.

Now, the thing with multi-track recording is that you MUST have a hardware device that supports multi-inputs... what is known as a multi I/O. The Samplitude Producer 11.5 will support up to 8 I/O so you could record 8 individual tracks simutaneously. Standard computers do not have multiple inputs, therefore alone, you can only record from one source.

Also, with all Magix audio programs you can duplicate a track (those with multiple tracks) so you can do panning or even effects... offsets and such.

The path to knowledge always starts with a question.
