In the 1960's Kodak sold a colorizing kit. With this kit you could color a black and white photograph. I had an aunt who did this to a picture of my siblings. I think it involved actually painting the photo with a brush. The image that I present here I did entirely with software. My goal was to achieve that colorized look.
