I like both possibilities how you express yourself.....
both would be very good music...

of course there are some technical problems to be solved, but you will succeed...
Maybe try one kind... and look after the Mixing/Mastering... how to keep the level
somehow even... not too red...
and to keep your voice in the foreground....
