How do I create an MP3 from my VIP?

I recently bought Samplitude 16 and everything is working fine. However I have created a number of multitrack VIPs but so far I have been unable to bounce them down into single track MP3s which can be played by Windows Media Player or Itunes. I have followed the instructions in the booklet around making a CD but this hasn't worked either as the CD cannot be read by my computer or CD player.

I would be really grateful if someone could provide a step by step guide on how to go from finishing your VIP to creating an MP3.
