How to export ringtone to Samsung SCH-U450

I am trying to use the Ringtone maker with a Samsung SCH-U450. Verizon is my carrier. This phone is not listed in the export area. I can't seem to update the phone list. Some of the Samsung phones listed are much older models, so I'm thinking this should be able to work. I'm really stuck here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

When I try to export, I don't have a phone to choose from. My only option is the manual export/mp3. Then when I try to pick a target, my phone does not come up as an option. The bluetooth and infrared options are also greyed out, surely because no phone is detected by the program. The phone's drivers are installed and recognized by my computer, though???? Thanks again.

Even if I choose a phone from the export list, I can't get the bluetooth or infrared buttons to not be greyed out.

Thank you for your help. When I connect my phone to my PC and open my computer, the phone shows up. But when I try to export as mp3, I click on the folder to choose my target and go to my computer, the phone does not show up. I'm very frustrated.
