Which version are we talking about here? What you do have are the audio cleaning features. Place your cursor on the audio track, typically the lower, depress the right mouse button and under the dropdown menu you'll find Audio Cleaning.

As each noise is different, there is not much point in telling you what to try out. What I do is always exagerate an effect etc, to see if I'm going in the right direction. Realistically, you'll not be able to extrapolate it completely, but should certainly get the sound a bit more to your liking. Cheers, M o' L

Do you need other parts of the audio?

If not, you can mute the whole track for the audio.

If you are like me, you need some parts of the audio track, so what I end up doing is separating the audio from the video using the ungroup feature of Movie Edit Pro. To do this. I select the video, this highlights both the video and the audio and I press the ungroup icon in the toolbar... (shown below in the red box area)

Now, when I click on the audio part, only the audio highlights. I can now use the cut icon in the same toolbar area to cut so I can delete sections I do not want, and keep the areas I do want. Once I an done I can press Ctrl A at the same time to select everything then press group so the audio pieces are again part of the video. I then can do some refining with the audio editing and sound tools with MAGIX. I have been very happy with those results.

The path to knowledge always starts with a question.
