PS...I like the pix because of the guns on his arms not the one he is holding...I hate guns...My dad was killed by one!
I really don't support there being at war either...but had to cuz my Son was take'n! I am sorry if this pix offend anyone, it was not my intentions to do that. My only meaning is to show who he is and that he is finely home from such an awfull experience my whole family has gone through...expecially my Son Matt. I supported him to survive! That is my only meaning as a Mom whom has gone through a hellatious year of preying for my son to return home!
There's nothing stronger than a mothers love... and no stars need to prove that... ![]()

I don't expect many comments on your picture... 'cause the topic you impliment here is very controversial.
What I don't like about this picture is the pose... with gun in a "winners pose"... but "there is no such thing as a winnable war..." (Sting - Russians)...
They (polititians, war-lords) tell those innocent kids... it's the right thing to do... but it's not. It's not possible to bring peace to the world with guns... war breeds only more war...

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that."
Martin Luther King Jr.
I am pleased with you that your son returns healthy and alive from a place, at which the most young people should not be.
The stars are only for the joy of a mother. Enjoy this day.
