No audio on uploading a video

Your question refers to… Movie Edit Pro

Hi guys, can anyone advise on why there`s no audio when I import into Movie edit pro 15 plus? I used the program for about a year with no problem, uploading from youtube or my own camcorder, Ive tried re-installing the program and even tried as many different forms, AVI, MPEG4, WAV, WMV and so on but nothing, I can drag and drop audio files in but there`s no audio with any video even the ones that use to

Hi Tim,

I noticed your Product looks like Video Deluxe 17, maybe I gotta  a lead on spadework.

You have to work in a Project with default Options or you choose your parameters (DVD,16/9, 25 Images/s, Progressive...)

When you drag your clips in the Time Line, Magix propose to readjust the Clip (if format is different that the one of the Project) with the Project Settings for a better compatibility with the rendering.

I tried  that with a .MOV file ---> No Audio if I avoid to readjust the Clip

You have a warning too with protected files in the Time Line, often you have no Audio and  restrictions to import the file.
