Sprint LG Rumor format

I have Ringtone Maker 3 & I have tried and tried and just can't figure out how to get the correct ringtone format/video whatever to work with my phone.  i have tried several selections, and tried to transfer via bluetooth, and it show progress like it is downloading to my phone, and then it says "invalid file type"  i have downloaded pics to my phone, so i know the bluetooth connection it ok.  I really need step by step directions- from the very beginning how to do this.  i read online it needs to be 3g2 format.  i just don't get it.  do i need to load an mp3 and a video?  do i need to choose mpeg4 or whatever that is?  where is the 3g2 selection?   i have activated the other $14.99 encoder so i have that.  please help?  i have been trying to do this since December, i got this for christmas. i have had 2 viruses already downloading freez converter.  i assume this ringtone maker does it all?   help!!!!!!!!  please!!!!!
