Hi velocity

if you've got the download version then make sure it's complete, ie that you have the additional free downloads as well. Get those with the prog open, then click on help.

As for additional effects, what about 3D Maker?. It's on the MAGIX homepage www.magix.com. Also, there are a bunch of different effects etc for your program on www.catooh.com

They may not be identical with what you were looking for, but they're certainly pretty usable.
