What's wrong with my chroma key?

My chroma key just isn't working. I click "green" as my color and it doesn't work. None of the colors do! I can't get the green out of my picture and it's so annoying! :(

(I use Movie Edit Pro 16) Any help?

Hi,

You can use any lamp (light) you have halogen, neon, led etc.. You have 2 conditions to respect :

1) Only one kind of lamp to light the green or blue screen, if you mix light you get trouble

2) Use the white balance on you camera to adjust the white object to be white in the movie to do so use a white cardborad and your light and your camera, read your manual, and adjust the white balance.

3) Manual focus, manual mode on the camera.

4) Light subject and screen with only one kind of lighting.

When I use chrome key first I bought five lamp. If you have green you can use halogen lamp but if you have blue you can use led lamp. And there can't be eny shadows.

Hi,

You must have a green or a blue background normally is green, in Effects, Video Effects, Chromakey Key you have 6 windows click on the green window, normally the screen background turn black leaving only the colored subject, you have also 2 sliders you can used it to adjust black intensity using Threshold and Fading range.
