...in buying one of these to use with MM15? I'm a noob to midi recording and wanted a controller to use instead of the mouse. I thought that the Axiom 25 would be perfect because I've read it's easy for noobs to learn with and I won't have to get a better one in the forseeable future because it has everything I really need in this early stage of learning.
Did I make a mistake? Should I have purchased a different controller that's easier for someone like me to set-up and learn with? If so, which one?
Thanks All for any responses--I'm at the end of my patience with this thing and feel bad that I spent money on something that won't work with MM.

Thanks, bobbynuts for the reply. My problems are that at first I tried to use the Axiom25 in Win7--bad mistake because it seems it's not supported easily without a lot of messing around. So, I tried to run the Ax25 in Vista 32 (I already downloaded all the necessary upgrades, etc.) and I'm still having problems getting even the Enigma softeare to recognize the controller. I fully admit I'm a "newborn" in using this type of software and equipment--but I'm computer literate and I'm still having no luck in making it work.
My answer was a reply to bobbynuts comments about DAW's.
ANY MIDI controller will work with MMM,...however, since MMM is not a true DAW, it will have limited functinality. There is no keyboard mapping, pitch bending, or modulation "performance" controls.
MMM will only respond to basic MIDI commands like note ON, note OFF, velocity, and sustain.
One can expect only so much from a software program that costs less than $100.
