Can HD recording be reduced from 1980x1080 to 1280x720 at 16:9

Your question refers to… Movie Edit Pro

Can full high definition recording (1980x1080) 16:9 ratio be reduced down to 1280x720 at 16:9 for editing purposes.  Currently cannot edit full HD as image is jumpy and cannot syncronize audio with footage.

You could try exporting frm MEP to the lower resolution before you start to edit and then import the lower res film back in for editing - I've no experience of this so there may be an easier/better way.
