Computer wont read disk? help plz

Your question refers to… Movie Edit Pro

I have Magix Movie Edit Pro 15, and my computer meets all system requirements but the disk wont work, when i put it in nothing comes up and i got to My Computer and it says theres no disks, my computer does work with other disks and CD's, and the movie editor disk works in other computers with the same system information, I got it to work before so i know it will work in this computer. Does anyone have any ideas?

P.S we cleaned the disk, and the computer laser lens, no scratches on either....

If you are saying the disc works in another computer then most likely the problem is one of the following:

1. The Drive you are using is a CDR instead of a DVDR. All Magix programs are on a DVD.

2. The firmware for the drive is outdated and needs to be updated from the Manufacturer of your DVD drive.

As Magix uses the latest techniques and protection mechanisms on the program discs sometimes older firmwares have trouble reading the disc.

  Thanks
