devce is currently not supported

When I tried to open new file, I was asked to select either I will take the input from vedio analog file or from computer file. I selected vedio file and then I got an error message saying "the device is currently  not supported".
I installed sccessfuly both of the software and the driver for the USB. I do not know what to do so the computer can recognize the USB and the software gets the vedio input into the computer? (I am using windows XP)

You have a USB device... did it come with a separate disc... You might need to contact the manufacture for the USB device.
