finished video is slightly out of sink with the audio (using Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus)

Your question refers to… Movie Edit Pro

The finished dvd when in playback is a little out. When someone speaks, there is a slight delay or the audio is not exactly lined up.

Any idea on what causes it, & how to fix it?

Any help would be helpful.

Thanks alot. Your answer worked really well. There was no hestitation in the MPEG-2 & the new finished film was fine.  AVI files sometimes just don't work as you might think. Don't know why.

Is there any delay when you play the project back within Movie Edit Pro?

 

Try exporting it to MPEG-2 to see if it also has that same sync delay.
