Latest upgrade of Magix Premium 2019 eliminated use of mp3 files

I just installed a free upgrade to Magix Premium 2019. I now have 28.0.0.12. Now I can no longer import or export mp3 files. I wasn't informed about that major change before the upgrade. I've been using Magix Music Maker since 2013 and have bought three new versions since then, most recently 2019 last May. I have always been able to import and export mp3 files until this free upgrade to 2019 last week. How can I import mp3 files?

I assume you mean upgraded from Music Maker 2019 to 2020 - Magix is the company.

The upgrade is equivalent to a new install, did you download and install all your purchased content? If not do so - it should be available in the Store tab, Gear icon, Download all purchased content.

Check that the program has picked up the serial number from Music Maker 2019 - see under Help, Activated content , and if you have other older versions enter their serial numbers into the same dialog to activate any Instruments and features from those versions as well - note: only serial numbers from Music Maker MX onwards can be used.

You are also missing patches - that latest version is 28.0.1.19

Yes, it's Music Maker, sorry. I have Music Maker 2019. I was prompted upon opening the program to download a free upgrade to Music Maker 2019 that would fix many technical issues and make the arranging board and other components more customizable. I did not purchase Music Maker 2020, and I won't be buying anymore Music Maker software if I can't import mp3 files. Since downloading the free upgrade to Music Maker 2019, I can no longer import mp3 files. Can anyone help me to import mp3 files in Music Maker 2019 Premium version 28.0.1.12? Thank you!

Did you re-install all the purchased content which includes the mp3 support which is in the More tracks and formats module.

If you are not sure if it is installed, open the Store tab and set the dropdown options to Features, you will see the above module appear and if you click on it it will tell you if it has been acquired.
