I am having the same problem and have reinstalled and downloaded all plugins and styles. Running Windows 7, 64 bit. Not sure if there is a compatibility issue.

 Sounds like the program did not install properly. Reinstall and make sure you download the additional plugins and "styles" from the magix site.
