How do you crop an image in Movie Editor 16 Pro?

Your question refers to… Movie Edit Pro

It can be done in PRO 15 and is intuitive, however I can NOT find even a hit of how to do it in PRO 16.  Does anyone know how or if even it is possible?

Thanks,
Dennis

First you want to be in the Edit mode and in the timeline mode and then select the image (or movie clip) you wish to crop. Then from the EFFECTS tab select SECTION/ZOOM from the MOVEMENT EFFECTS menu and in the dialog box (to the right), for this section, select the FREE PROPORTIONS from the drop-down box. At this point you may want to uncheck FULL SCREEN or not, if not, then the cropped image will expand in size to the full screen size and be centered. Once you have made these selections grab one of the orange sizing handles on the image and select the area you which to crop to. Once selected click on the SIZE/POSITION option in the MOVEMENT EFFECTS menu, this action will crop your image/clip.

When you are in the dialog box, the drop-down box offers a number of different options you can crop to. Play around with these options to enhance your working knowledge of cropping.  Good luck and I hope this saves you some time.
  Thanks
