Turn up the volume to at-least 90%
I have been thinking about sharing a dream of mine with all the friends and fans at the community. Thanks to Amanda & Tommy that they have given me this opportunity through Kreativ Café’ for sharing it with you under the monthly theme “Dreams of the Future”.
“Junoon” is an Arabic word meaning “passion" or “madness” and is the name of First Rock Band of Pakistan (from my home town Lahore). The name Junoon came to lead guitarist Salman Ahmad in a dream where one of his teachers shook him and said "Tumhey mousiqui ka Junoon hai!" (You have an passion/obsession for music!). He formed Junoon soon after with two friends, Ali Azmat and Brian O Connell. The band's first album, self titled released in 1990 "Junoon" barely made a dent in the Pakistani music industry, their second album "Talaash" began creating a cult following for Junoon. The band was no overnight success. Junoon struggled financially for the first few years. Group members remember months of eating 'daal' and rice, the modest Pakistani's staple. Their politically influenced songs were often subject to censorship, which led to the eventual ban from all state run television and radio during the rule of former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. In 1997, Junoon had their first full scale tour of the United States, Canada, and the UAE, performing from Birmingham, Alabama, to Los Angeles, to New York's Roosevelt Hotel, which was featured in Newsweek Magazine. Subsequently, Junoon recorded their fifth album, Azadi.
Junoon's manager, Shehryar Ahmad, secured the band its first international record deal, with the Azadi album. More about Junoon can be learnt through http://www.junoon.com & http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junoon_(band)
Me being a rock lover & challenger of norms became an instant fan of Junoon from the very first listening of their first Album and have their complete priceless collection with me today.
My Junoon (passion & obsession) was & still is that one day I perform with Ali, Salman and Brian. As such another twenty years down the line when time travel emerges as a break through technology, I book a 5 minute trip worth half a billion dollars to go back into the late 80s’ where I meet with the Band members and do a Jam session with them which is presented here. Worth a dream to live by and wait for it to come true….
I dedicate this track to Junoon, their fans, rock lovers across the world and all the friends in community for their support and encouragement which has been the key motivation behind my music.
All midi as usual and with lots of love...

I´m not shure.....
It´s verry clear... ok.....
Each note has it´s exact place....ok...
I like Rock...
But something, for me, I am missing.
Something like live-energie... ok, it´s only my impression.
Maybe, it could be a little bit faster and something, that makes the different tracks more closer. Adding a voice, chor, percussion... i don´t know... something like this. Where ist the Power, the screaming or dancing in your head and heart? What happends?
You are a good musican, i think, you are able to make it better.
regards,
Uwe
