    RE: Hi8 Blue Screen
@kevin-c2769 Kev, it might still be the camcorder: try playing it on the TV with one of your other RCA cables. It doesn't have to be the yellow one.

RE: Reasonably affordable graphics card for Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus
@CubeAce I used no Apple equipment during this videoing session. I only use my iPhone audio as back up., a last resort as I know Apple files can have issues, like frame rate issues that prevent MEP from displaying the entire video in the timeline.

@johnebaker @CubeAce @Bol @ghijohansson Guys, where are we getting 5.1 surround sound? Reading the manual, the Canon XA-10 camcorder only supports 2 channels. It's just an HD AVCHD camcorder released in 2011. I don't think the software is going to

RE: Unable to import MKV files into Video deluxe 2026 Plus, Windows 10
@AAProds @Gra_Ham Graham, seeing your video on my big monitor, I'd do a re-capture.  An excellent suggestion. If we understand the camcorder make and capture device, we can suggest a workflow that will produce a codec that is readable by VDL. The OP

RE: VDL 2026 Crashing on Analogue Recording Stop
@AAProds Three questions: Is the crash random or consistent? If you hit stop on the camcorder/VCR rather than the program - does the system crash? Do you have access to another USB digitizer to test?

    Videowandler 2 issues...
Hello. I am trying to connect my camcorder for use with Video Saver 8. I have the red and white USB and I used a guide found here to manually install the drivers through device manager and selecting the .inf file for it. It now shows properly as

RE: what are correct driver(s) for the "video grabber" K0065 for win11?
Thank you SP, you were correct the premium version was needed, after another hour I am able to see the video on the computer screen. The new problem is that when I click on "transfer video to computer" the video freezes and nothing more happens.

Those settings are already turned on.Also, the USB does not light up when connected, if that is a problem. The camcorder comes with a mono AV cable, with yellow and black connectors, rather than yellow, red, and white.

RE: Getting Firewire to work on an old laptop fitted with a FireWire socke
@AnnTH To be brutally frank, I suggest you use WinDV or Scenalyzer to transfer your DV files from your camcorder to your laptop, then move them to your friend's new PC. While Magix can/could transfer DV, it will bring a tape in in one big file,

cleaning head might be an idea, so long as no risk of damage. I have a bit under 60 hours of tape in total - does that count as a lot? @Gra_Ham, I'll look in my files. I remember I made notes to myself when I went through this whole process. I think

@Sami-Pekonmki My comments are based on this manual. Sami, do you by any chance, have a DV/Firewire port on your computer? That camcorder appears to be miniDV and the best transfer is via Firewire. Regarding the video signal, you would get better

@AnnTH whether I can put her DV tapes in a Canon MiniDV HDV 1080i.  Ann, assuming it's an HV20, 30 or 40, yes, you can play your tapes in it. It should automatically swap to "DV" mode when you hit Play. if it doesn't, dive into the PLAY/OUT SETUP

@ghijohansson To access the .m2ts codec (AVCHD), its grouped under MPEG4. I have a Panasonic camcorder that shoots .m2ts and have no issues with Movie Studio so I don't think you have anything to worry about. MMS2025 is currently on sale at a great

@Sami-Pekonmki @emmrecs I could try S-Video, however then there is the problem of recording the audio. S-video is not really a solution unless you can also have a separate audio feed.  Just use the audio (red and white plugs) from the 3-plug
