Loudness Normalization for Objects

@spuddy13 Hi Brian Like @browj2, I too use Youlean Loudness meter in conjunction the MeldaProduction MDynamicEq which I find is good for helping balancing the levels of different audio streams so switching from one audio to another does not result

@JRH Hi How odd ! Are there loud background noises and/or do the speakers have strong accents/dialects ? I have tested a video with noisy intermittent drilling in the background and the Text To Speech isolated the speech with no errors. John EB

Pro 18 batch check LUFS on many mp3 files

I just upgraded to Pro 18 to be able to check my backing track files for LUFS loudness to make sure they are played with equal loudness on gigs. Is there a fast and easy way to batch check all of them in one go? tnx /JimR

Not sure if anyone is still following this thread after so many months, but I believe I have found the solution to these txt files being created. Open any audio file in SF Click on "Save As" In the "Save As" box, uncheck "Generate Loudness Log"

The program is posting the same files for me now... SF 15 Pro Suite. loud.txt and loud.txt.previous files for every track I save. Really annoying. Did we ever find a solution or cause, or most importantly, a way to turn it off?

[Solved] LOUD STATIC NOISE

I just installed SOUND FORGE AUDIO STUDIO 17. but when trying to use it I get a loud static noise. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't help. any suggestions?

By the looks of your screenshot's amplitude @Thomas-Braun3542, it is way too loud. Use the Sound Forge 'Statistics' tool to determine the RMS loudness factor and reduce the level accordingly. If you can post the file on google drive or other cloud

@gregory-battaglia Usually loudness processing is only available in Magix Sequoia, not in Samplitude. Maybe there is a Loudness visualizer available in your version, so you can see the values of your audio. You can change the loudness of your audio

Can SF play continuously as you edit?

I'm editing an audiobook and while the audio file is in play, I often scroll ahead to look for issues such as loud breaths, retakes, etc. But anytime I do anything (mute, delete, etc.), SF stops playback. Is this because it's a destructive editing
