Picture contrast problems with RYVT
Your question refers to
Rescue Your Videotapes!
Hello,
Transferring from VHS, most of the results I'm getting have been fine; however, with certain recordings the white balance is much too bright: lighter areas of the image appearing bleached out and pure white (for example pale blue skies become searing white areas).
Adjusting my Nvidia brightness and contrast settings helps a little, but the results still aren't great.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I am not much can be done about that... it might just be the NTSC issue, which is the North American video standard that the rest of the world nicknamed Never The Same Color...
Unless the VCR has a way to alter the brightness/contrast, you will have to rely on the editing in the program to help in that area.
