having recorded my 45s to  the cleaning lab 15 deluxe andcleaned and mastered them,on play back before burning the sound is very TINNY. Can anyone tell me why

Hi M o' L ,Thank you for your reply.

I am using an IONAUDO turntable and I must say I could not hear the sound through my PC but heard the sound off the turntable.

I am using Magix audio cleaning lab 15. and XP pro.

the turntablke is connected to the PC via USB.

 are you still able to help

I'll try.  You most likely have a preamp built into the turntable. Not sure which model you have, but

don't take the sound from your turntable to listen in. You have the option in the recording dialog of monitoring the

input signal.  Do you have a dedicated soundcard, or just a chipset such as Realtek etc. These are not ideal for a good recording. Get the latest soundcard driver for whatever you have, as that might help too.

did the recording sound 'tinny' before you edited the recording. Could be a variety of factors, but it would help if you set out briefly what equipment you have and how you are trying to make a recording.
