So Much For The Golden Years

In America, when we retire, the saying is, ahhh 'The Golden Years'. You have worked all your life, and now that you are 65, you can relax and enjoy 'the golden years'. HA! I get $700 a month from the government now that I am 65. And, if I try to keep working, they take money out of that $700! When you get 65 in America, you cannot make a better life. The government taxes you. If you stay poor, the government will take care of you. It is all messed up! This song is saying; 'well, I was looking forward to the 'Golden Years', but...not like this!
