The Journey. The piece of music has evolved in my mind forever,  now the madness has escaped,  I am left wondering what has taken over, more madness? and if so, what next? Welcome to my madness.Let your journey begin,  (this is mine).  Travelling to the outer reaches of our Galaxy and beyond. The lumbering space craft, dragged like a sedated beast to its launch site, the serenity before blast off as the early morning light rises to reach the horizon. The countdown, the tension before ignition, hissing and screaming as fuel injects life into the inanimate object, culminating in a reverberating  lift off. I leave earth's atmosphere accelerating into the darkness, lit, in all its glory by the Moon praying to the Sun, then catapulted towards the beginning of time at the speed of light. Emptiness calls to me as it  flashes by, like cascading fireworks going off in all directions, The voices of unexplored space can be heard singing out, giving encouragement, warnings and directions towards the unforeseen. I enter a meteor  storm buffeted by space debris, on a roller coaster ride to oblivion, emerging on the other side, into the calmness of a black void. Encountering colossal Gas Giants with nimble Moons, speeding Planets, dancing in a three dimensional vacuum to the tune of order. All devoid of life forms, safe in the knowledge of their continuous existence, without fear of pollution or population-kind. Standing defiant against the ravages of time. I hurtle outwards amazed by a scenery, invisible to the naked eye, but explosive to the mind. Until finally approaching, then  breaking through the wall of known, to be cast headlong deep into the bowels of the unknown.  Large, Loud and Chaotic..................... To be Continued. This is a melody set against counter melody, harmony against disharmony, crafted on midi keyboard with orchestral instruments segmented into, woodwind, strings, brass, percussion and drums. This piece is dedicated to anyone who, has ever combined a series of notes in an attempt to make a tune, picked up a brush, pen or camera to produce an imaginable or visual image. To all artists,"The work is never finished, it lives in eternity, waiting for the final touch, knowing it will never come".RegardsAlan Campbell (allguitars)

Hello allguitars,

it's a bit difficult to criticize such a musical work in English (I'm German) but I will try.
First a small tipp-off: If you use some samples (especially classical instruments) in a higher BpM as they are stored ( for example, you drag the sample into the arrangement and it is marked with 80 BpM, but you want to play it 120 BpM), go into Rack-Effects>Timestretching/Time Processor>, then click on the button *setup*. There you'll find the option *smooth*. Click on it, and then you'll see, sorry, hear that the sample sounds much smoother, especially strings.
Further I think a few transitions are not tidy/decent enough. But all in all very good. By the way, you used several samples as I do in my little sonata!

hear you
Lehar

Hi Alan,

I guess this question haunts perhaps every sensitive and sensible purpose that what is the depth of this universe, his purpose and the will to explore and as rightly mentioned that this quest is endless.

Out of my experiences and learning made so far I guess the journey is eternal with this life just being a transitory like a railway station and as with any journey the lighter one will travel, the easier it will be to attain the balane or equilibrioum in everything that surronds us - physical (our body, buildings.. or non physical emotions, relationships....

I will be obliged if the CO. Pilot seat is vacant and you can allow me to sit there.

Look forward to the next episode..very rarely I would go through a piece this long but I have thoroughly enjoyed this one.
