Twice when burning the DVD, video recorded fine but no audio was recorded, why?

When I burned a DVD, the video came out fine but there was no audio recorded.

If the DVD can play back on your computer with no problems or another video player then it could be that your DVD player can't handle the audio codec used on the DVD.
