Assuming it was properly installed, I would assume it would be shown in the Object Synthesizer section of the Synthesizer tab.  Of course, to see this you cannot be in "Easy Mode".

If you are assuming you will be able to "play" the Vandal SE "amp" in real time like a real amp, I'm afraid you'll probably be disappointed (like so many others).  Vandal behaves like any of the other effects in MMM - only on existing audio files.

About the Rocksmith cable - why don't you just try it?

Yeah i was hoping to do the recording real time.

Trying the cable? I figured Id have to get the Vandal up to try it.  Such a bummer it wont do real time with all the stomp boxes an effects

I'm not sure you quite understand.  You CAN record and use real, hardware stompboxes in realtime.  You just can't "play" the Vandal "amp" as if it were a real, hardware amp.  It is an "effect" applied to the recording after the fact.

The Rocksmith cable would have nothing to do with it other than providing a way to directly connect your guitar to your computer.  So, go ahead and try it.  If it works, you'll be able to record your guitar playing in MMM.
