izotope RX Elements Plug-in not appearing

Hi all. I just purchased MEP 2018 premium and was able to install the newblue plugins and also izotope rx elements. However, izotope does not appear in MEP. It is installed on my computer and appears in start menu but not in effects tab or anywhere else in MEP. What did I do wrong? Isn't it supposed to show up somewhere within MEP as a plug in?

Hi

After installing you must do the following:

  • Authorise the iZotope installation - run the standalone RX editor and follow the dialogs.

  • Rescan the VST plugin folder or set the VST plugin path, open the Program settings, Folders tab select the Add VST plug-in path button and browse to the location of the 64 bit plugin then click OK.

To use the plug-ins they are available under the Mixer track or master FX buttons as shown below

Note: In the Effects tab iZotope may still appear to need to be downloaded.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have authorized izotope and also added VST as you instructed. Is the plug in folder "program files>common files>VST3>izotope ? I did that and the program seemed to add the plug ins but they do not show up. When I go to Mixer and click the + button, it says no other plug ins are available and to add VST path again.

Got it to show now. Found the correct plugin folder (program files>steinberg>VSTplugins).
Also redownloaded RX Elements from the izotope website, for some reason the advanced version was installed.
