MusicMaker vs Music Studio?

Hi!  I have just realized that Music Studio was included in my purchase of the MusicMaker and just got to download and install it now.  So... what's the difference?  What should I use it for?

Music Maker is a sample & loop based sequencer, specialized to beginners. Music Studio is a professional recording software and DAW for musicians and bands.

Both programs complement each other.

Thank you Master Delphi!

I tried using Music Studio yesterday.  I opened a Music Maker file on it and it works.  But fr some reason, I can't record any audio rec via my USB interface which is a Yamaha Audiogram3.

H,

You need to use an Asio driver to record from USB properly. One may have come with your Yamaha.

You have to install it, set it up in the settings and then quit the program. Then turn on the keyboard connected for midi, then open MMM or Music Studio, otherwise it will not detect your keyboard.

A little update to my post: the above assumes that you are connecting using midi.
