I am working on a movie with two different types of file extentions - .mxv and .mpg. I have sound on the .mxv files but do not have sound on the .mpg files when playing back in the timeline but I have sound when I play them in Windows Media Player. I am using Magix Movies on DVD7. Can anyone help?
What's the audio on those MPG files and where do they come from? With MPEG-2 material, it's very likely that they got Dolby Digital/AC3 audio on them. In this case, you'd have to make sure that the Dolby Digital Stereo decoder in Movies on DVD 7 is activated. You can perform the activation in the "Help" menu under "Activate additional functions". Contact Magix sales/support if you need help with that.
