I suspect it would be very helpful if you were to attach a screenshot of the error message, or at least the full wording of it.

This is a real long shot but, if you're using an audio interface, have you tried unplugging it and launching the program?

Don't know if you've tried this, but I use Geek uninstaller (free) whenever I have to uninstall a program:

That's interesting. Have to try that. I did uninstall with windows control panel and with Revo.

My preferred uninstaller has been Revo Uninstall, which has options to remove leftover register entries, folders and other pertinent data files the OS uninstall leaves behind.. which in many instances is the cause of a problem in the first place. Both the freeware version and pro version work very well.
