@JK_Harper

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Videos with Alpha channels do work with Movie Edit Pro (MEP) however they must be in a supported file and encoding format.

Use MediaInfo to analyse one of the videos with alpha channel and post the results from the Text view, also which version number and variant of MEP are you using - see under Help, About?

@JK_Harper

Hi

Thanks for the MediaInfo information - the file analysed does not have an Alpha channel - it is encoded as AVC (h.264) which does not support the Alpha channel.

I suspect what you have is a video which has a background - possibly a solid colour, black or white - to which you can apply the Chromakey, Alpha effect to remove it leaving only the non black part of the image.

Hi,

I noticed that BusyBoxx has some products that come with a mask as well as the effect. Is that your case?

Yes, those were the products that I bought: Sparks, Flames, Powders, and others. I was finally able to get the masks to work.

Now that you have had some time to use the BusyBoxx products, is this a product you would recommend? I was looking at purchasing their Cyber Monday special.
