Hey everyone, I'm back with a new improvisation, played four times differently. I've chosen to put the third one first, recorded live with my GoPro (so the sound quality isn't great), but sometimes I'm too lazy to lug my laptop around to connect it to my audio/MIDI interface while recording what I'm filming, using my old Magix Audio Studio Deluxe from 2004 (especially since once it's installed and I'm in the middle of the musical variations of the moment, it would kill my inspiration to go get it, lol!). I did try recording the audio on GarageBand on my iPad, but since it records in monitor mode, the sound isn't any better. Next time, I'll lug my PC around, or maybe I'll use my Yamaha MODX m7 to replace my old Yamaha SQ 16 PSR workstation that's behind me, which will allow me to record in WAV format on a single sample, although I could I'll definitely do it with my Roland FA-06. Hallo zusammen! Ich bin zurück mit einer neuen Improvisation, die ich viermal unterschiedlich gespielt habe. Die dritte Version habe ich zuerst aufgenommen, live mit meiner GoPro (die Tonqualität ist also nicht die beste). Manchmal bin ich aber zu faul, meinen Laptop mitzuschleppen und ihn an mein Audio-/MIDI-Interface anzuschließen, während ich filme. Dafür benutze ich mein altes Magix Audio Studio Deluxe von 2004 (vor allem, weil es meine Inspiration zerstören würde, wenn ich es erst mal anschließe und mitten in den musikalischen Variationen bin, haha!). Ich habe versucht, den Ton mit GarageBand auf meinem iPad aufzunehmen, aber da es im Monitor-Modus aufnimmt, ist der Klang auch nicht besser. Nächstes Mal nehme ich meinen PC mit, oder vielleicht benutze ich meinen Yamaha MODX m7, um meine alte Yamaha SQ 16 PSR Workstation zu ersetzen, die hier hinten steht. Damit kann ich im WAV-Format mit einem einzigen Sample aufnehmen. Ich könnte es zwar auch, aber ich werde es definitiv mit meinem Roland FA-06 machen.
... Ich muss wohl nochmal in der Bedienungsanleitung nachschauen, haha!

É verdade Meu Amigo Patrick. Agora que reparei que aquele rosto me parecia familiar. Sim JM Jarry. Muito bom mesmo. Sou Fã de JM Jarry. Eu tinha Lp's dele em 1986 a 1989 quando por coisas de adolescente acabei vendendo todos discos eu tinha centenas de discos de vários artistas. Vendi todos pois pensei que a tecnologia nao iria evoluir mais do aquele presente momento. As vezes a gente deve aprender com os próprios atos antes de tomar decisões. Mas fica o lembrete quem quiser mudar o raciocínio esta é a hora. Para tudo ha um tempo.

Também sou fã de Jean-Michel Jarre desde seu primeiro álbum, "Oxygène", que ouvi na casa de um amigo que o tinha em vinil. Gostei, e muito tempo depois comprei "Equinóxe" em vinil e, como já o tinha gravado em uma boa fita cassete, comprei "Oxygène" em CD. Depois veio o magnífico CD duplo do seu concerto na China, e mais tarde comprei alguns álbuns mais recentes, mas fiquei desapontado. E em seus concertos, ele toca seus álbuns antigos com muita frequência e não apresenta muitas músicas novas, infelizmente. Hoje em dia, com as novas tecnologias, ele usa muito menos instrumentos, mas antes ele tinha muitos, porém havia se tornado menos criativo. Não adianta ter muito equipamento se você não o usa muito... Ele chegou a fazer um álbum em colaboração com artistas renomados, e eu ouvi trechos, e para mim, não é uma criação original de Jean-Michel Jarre, mas sim o trabalho de outros com a colaboração dele. O que demonstra que, naquela época, ele também não tinha muitas ideias...

 

I'm also a Jean-Michel Jarre fan, ever since his first album, "Oxygène," which I heard at a friend's house back then, who had it on vinyl. Then came the superb double CD of his concert in China, and later I bought some more recent albums, but I was disappointed. And in his concerts, he plays his old albums far too often and doesn't do much new music, unfortunately. Nowadays, with new technologies, he has far fewer instruments, but before, he had many, but had become less creative. It's not enough to have a lot of equipment if you don't do much with it... He even made an album in collaboration with well-known artists, and I've heard excerpts, and for me, it's not a creation of Jean-Michel Jarre's own, but rather the work of others with his collaboration. Which goes to show that at that time, he didn't have many ideas either...
