TRIP OVER THE PEACIFUL LANDS OF THE SIBERIA
La “Lokomotiv 5111” presente sulla copertina dell’album, un tempo vi avrebbe scarrozzato su e giù per i Balcani. Franco Galateo vi fa invece salire sul suo disco volante e vi porta in viaggio nelle pacifiche terre della Siberia. Il progetto di Franco è tutto suo, la musica non è tutta farina del suo sacco. Ci troviamo di fronte ad un MASH-UP. Franco ha costruito personali architetture mischiando malta e mattoni fabbricati da altri. Ma per saperne di più vale la pena di leggere l’intervista che Franco ha concesso. L’album ora presente nei cassetti della MITS, ma che Franco ha già distribuito in giro per il mondo.
l’album è costituito da due lunghe parti. Ho scelto frammenti di brani di artisti quali Isidro Castro, Jon Mark, Marco Milone, ecc., li ho combinati con dei loop forniti da software musicali, indi per alcuni ho variato l'accordo o la tonalità, ho creato un filo conduttore e ho sovrapposto altri loop, loro o miei. Diciamo che io ho scelto le sonorità che mi piacevano le ho variate ed integrate, quindi non è tutta farina del mio sacco, ma al contempo ho lavorato molto con tutte le fasi di correzione e di editing audio ,variazione ottenute con il software della Magix. Insomma ho giocato con Magix per testare le sue grandi capacità e il risultato mi sembra buono.

INTERVIEW: EVENTS JAZZ 06/2015. The album consists of two long sections (which will be presented in parts.) I chose fragments of songs from artists such as Isidro Castro, Jon Mark, Marco Milone, etc., I combined them with loops provided by music software, and for some I have changed the accord or the tonality, I have created a wire and I have superimposed other loops, they or me. Let's say I chose the sounds that I liked I changed and integrated, so I did not it's all flour on my bag, but at the same time I've worked hard with all the correction and audio editing phases, variations made with the Magix software. So I played with Magix to t
