Pro 17 plus

I have seen the excellent discription on Utube by aaprods on how to convert 4:3 to 16:9 in pro 15/16 but the method does not seem to work in pro17plus,the selection does not move up and down the screen, even though I managed to insert the keyframe albeit in a different way to aaprods appoach.

In other words the film has been converted to widescreen.but doe's not follow my keyframes

Many thanks  tvman

TvMan,

I've reviewed  the tute and see nothing that should cause problems in MP17+. Can you be more specific about what you did to create your keyframes?

Alwyn's method is standard -- create the first keyfram by clicking on the little diamodn icon and subsequent ones will auto insert if you move to a new location on the timeline and change the zoom/crop box to the area you want to show at that point in time.

Sorry, I can't think of more to add to the method:

Once the first key frame is created, if I move the cursor (either on the keyframe timeline or in the main timeline or by playing and then stopping) a new set of key frame points get created whenever I change the value(s) of what's being altered. This is true for moving the marquee in the preview window for eg size/position, typing in a new position value, or changing a slider for something like pixellation distortion.

Sometime MEP seems to get funny with all sorts of keystrokes and mouse events. Is your problem limited to the one project or does it happen even on a new one with different objects?

Carl
