Apropriate file extension for Verizon / LG and others

ScrapHound wrote on 1/16/2008, 5:46 PM
What file extension is used for ringtones for Verizon / LG phones. What about other providers eg: sprint, at&t, boost... are there any standards? Are there certain file types created especially for ringtones? Appologies if these questions have been answered.

Hi,

it depends only what kind of phones you have. The usual format for realtones is MP3. Just export it (bluetooth, infrared, cabel) to your mobile phone and try it out.
