Audio EQ

When I EQ an audio clip using the Audio Cleaning menu and then I slice the clip, the EQ disappears from the second piece the clip. If I enter the Audio Cleaning menu the EQ reappears, but it's really time consuming to do that every time. I thought when I upgraded to the latest version it might have been fixed but it has been the same in many versions past. I'm currently using Magix Video Pro X version 18.0.1.85. Does anyone else have this problem? I hope there's a way to fix it. Thanks!

Hi Ben, and welcome to the VPX user to user forum.

Try this. Right click the audio channel.

Select the next audio channel or highlight the rest of the clips.

Hi Ben,

I think that you've found a minor bug. I seem to recall that something like this was discussed.

I just tried it on a clip, split the clip, and the word "Equalizer" no longer shows on the right part of the split clip. However, double-clicking on that audio part and going to Equalizer shows that it still has the EQ applied.

Do you find the same thing?

Yes! That's exactly it! It's a pain in the butt to need to double-click every time just to get the EQ to apply and ultimately takes up a lot of time when I'm working on a big project. Is there any way to fix it?

You need to report it to Magix Support. Only they can provide any fix.
