In the advertising one can read:

A highlight in any 3D video: MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus offers a range of real 3D fades and titles that you can use for your 3D design.
The depth of 3D titles can be adjusted freely, allowing you to integrate them into your project in the best possible way. Get ready for perfect depth effects!
By the way, 2D videos or photos can also be turned into impressive Stereo3D shows.

is it really possible and how?

I think this might conjure up the idea that you can take 2D files and make them 3D, but I think what they are saying is you can add text or effects using the program since they can be turned into a 3D effect.

So, you can take a 2D image and import it to the project, then add in a text file, you would then have the text file selected then go to effects, 3D Stereo, then use the alignment slider to add in a 3D effect.

I think you could do that with the picture of video itself, but this would only be usable with anaglyph view so you need those red/blue lenses to see it.

It does work, I have tried it.

Hi, there!

It´s true - you can turn photos and videos from 2D to 3D. But don´t expect to much...

Remember that a real 3D-effect needs at last 2 pictures from different angles!

So what you get here is something like a pseudo-3D that hasn´t got the depth and quality of a real stereoscopic picture or movie....
