The program will install as before, and will just ask you to fill in the activation code again, but where it asks to register online, there is also a box u can click to say 'already' registered, so it will bypass it and finish loading as before.

Some older versions are not suitable for more up to date p.c programs such as windows Vista or windows 7 I'm afraid you may have to get another version of Magix.   If this isn't the problem, just reload the disk as before, but when it asks for the activation code, type it in, but instead of clicking 'register on line' click the smaller font of 'already registered' it will finish loading as new.

However, when I upgraded from win 2000 to vista, I had to upgrade my choice of Magix, then again when I upgraded my pc to a laptop with Vista. I found  Magix Movie Edit Pro 14 DID work with Vista, however, I decided to upgrade to Movie Edit Pro 15+ to take advantage of the 3D and HD effects,  but sometimes my laptop froze or went blue screen on me.

Then, the DVD burner packed up, so I've invested in a new laptop, with faster speeds, more RAM and Gigs of hard drive storage space.      And guess what??  the program I've been longing to to use to it's full potential to make a video cd  of my son's wedding photos' ... wont link up to the CD/DVD-RW Burner!!    It can't even find the burner :(  I've tried everything I can think of to no avail, soooo ...

if any one out there has any suggestions of how I can overcome this, I'd be very happy.
