Can't remove ENTER TEXT when inserting title in VEGAS Movie Studio 15

Running VEGAS Movie Studio 15 Platinum on Windows 10 with New Blue Ultimate 4.  When I open the Title box and remove the Enter Text and type the words I want in the new title, once placed on the timeline I can see the new title words but underneath still see the Enter Text words.  Tried using the standard titles and also New Blue, please help this is driving me nuts.
