Can you use Rescue Your Video Cassettes to also capture audio from audio casette?

I'm looking to buy one of the Rescue Your... products either the vinyl and tapes or the video cassette. Can the video casette version USB device can be used to capture audio only from an audio casette device? That way, I only have to buy one package.

I don't know Rescue----, but by using the Mic input on the computer, I think you'll be able to record tape sound with the Video version.
