cannot read .mov

I'm trying to import my movie files into MEP 17, but it keeps telling me that it cannot read this file. I have downloaded the latest version of QuickTime, but nothing. Any ideas out there? Thanks

Although you have QT installed you may still not have the required codec for MEP.

Do your movie files play OK in QT?

You can use GSpot or MediaInfo to find out what codec is inside the MOV file.
