I have a Canon HV20. When I try to record nothing shows up in the preview window and the stats show that it is not capturing any mb's of data. The video will play, but goes black when I hit record. Magix Edit Pro 17.

Also when I hit stop and click "okay" it tells me that the path cannot be found. It is pretty obvious that the path exists because I was able to select it. Not that it matters, because nothing is recording.

I have had success recording once a little while ago, but now can't seem to make it work. I am using the IEEE cable and I can control the playback, just no recording. I'm using Windows 7.
