change import picture setting from 7 seconds to shorter value - Video 17 hd plus

Is there a way to change the default setting of 7 seconds when importing a picture?

The option to set the standard picture length is under 'File' >> 'Settings' >> 'Program settings'. In MEP 14 it is on the 'System' tab; in VPX it is on the 'Video/Audio' tab.
