changing 16:9 to story size

Hey when I have like 10 clips in my timeline for a basketball highlight clip, Im having trouble adjusting it into a nice story frame as the action in the clip moves into directions.

I do know how to adjust the size, but once I have 10 sec with the ball / person moving/shooting etc, Im not sure whats the steps using the frames add button (that "+") and how to smoothly move the camera as the plays go so it all stays in the middle of the story-frame size.

I hope someone can help me.

If you're using Size/Position/Rotation, all you have to do is drag the video in the monitor to the desired new position and a keyframe will automatically be added. For example, if the ball is currently centered and then over the next few seconds, moves off centre, simply drag the video to re-centre the ball. The ball will then stay centered as you play thru that part of the clip provided the ball doesn't move erratically. If it say zigzags about, you'll need to drag the video move often ie after a shorter play time to keep the ball centered. But in all cases, as soon as you drag the video, a new keyframe is automatically created.

Camera/Zoomshot is, IMO, is superior for achieving this tracking effect because you can see crop box and the entire video, making it easier visualise the position and zoom in and out. I've done a YT video on CZS:
