differences between Soundforge 12.6 and older version.

Hello

So my job recently updated a bunch of computers to windows 11 as such we now use a newer version of Sound forge (version 12.6).

The main issue i have is that the new sound forge does not allow me to see the "end" of the audio. In my job i often have to add things to the end of sound pieces so its very annoying to have to click multiple times until i place the cursor exactly at the end of the audio rather than just putting it over the dark gray space at the end of the waveform that represents after the end of the sound file. This is what new sound forge looks like. (Light blue waveform) no matter what i do i cannot figure out how to view the end of the audio. no matter what, the end of the window is exactly when the audio ends.

This is how the old Sound forge looked and functioned. as you can see the Dark gray area is not a part of the audio or the sound file, but when editing the end i can drop new sound pieces there and it will go to the end of the existing audio

This difference basically makes the new sound forge unusable for my purposes so i hope this is a setting i can change.

Thanks!

Hi

To see the end of the track, as in the old version, use the zoom control to zoom out - then end will appear as the old version.

The interesting this is, that Sound Forge Audio Studio 12.6 is some kind of odd experiment. No other version has this kind of GUI. Also not newer versions (13 and up).
