There is something not quite right about Movie Edit Pro 15. I imported a .VOB file and increased the stereo output for both channels. I then exported the video using the same settings as the original video; resolution, speed etc. The problem is that the expected completion time is 9 hours and already used up 35GB of hard space, why is this? The vob file is only 1gb.

How did you boost the stereo output?

When you import a video, click on it to highlight it, right-click and select Audio Cleaning. Click on Stereo FX tab, then select your desired preset. Easy.
